Hey, we're just musicians. a cowboy, an indian and a pirate.

When I was a kid I was watching golf on t.v. with my dad. They mentioned the money the players were making. It was the first time I knew that athletes got paid. I figured it must be because they are so good at what they do. They are given money so they don't have to work so they can be left alone to practice their art and get even better. It made sense.

It doesn't really work that way. or maybe it does.

So we play instruments and write songs and sing and try to contribute and to stay the hell out of the way.

It used to be 'they make cars in Detroit and they make records in L.A.' and you gotta grab the brass ring and all that.

But that's not true anymore, thanks to the device you are reading this on. The zeppelin is deflating. There aren't many jets that have band names on them anymore. The superhype machine has dwindled and been diluted, though it still lives.

But artisan cottage industry is filling and (causing) a vacuum. Technology is cheap and assessable, it's more intuitive and less obtrusive continually. The odds are better than ever to make a living doing what we love. The catch is, it's a lot of work, much of it distasteful like getting on myspace and the whole networking (salesmanship) thing. Even if it's fun, like building a web site, shouldn't I be playing my guitar instead? I guess not. Then there's the whole day job, rent and bills thing. I don't know who came up with that idea, but I know I missed the meeting. So there's no jets and sex slaves et al. , just a good honest living to be made, perhaps. Maybe some satisfaction. When I was thirteen, Jimi spoke to me and I knew I wasn't alone. What if you could do that for somebody?

We love music and we love playing. Our prime directive is to open our channels and let it flow from the source, through us, through our listeners and back around again. It is a magical, healing, loving and rare thing.

And we hope to get good enough at it that they'll give us money so we can practice our art and get better at it.

This web site is (obviously) a work in progress and built by musicians who, as a general rule, aren't very much good at anything else.

Please buy our recordings as soon as we record them and get them up on the store page and please come to our gigs. Sign up for the newsletter and we'll keep you up on both. And all you wonderful people in the music industry please contact us and hire us.

Thank you

Namaste
